It has always been a nightmare to see my friends unfolding a diagrid mesh into strips of triangles in Rhino and unfolding them for lasercutting. And then painstakingly glue the edges together to create a diagrid shell.

I have been thinking of a way to ease this process. The concept is pretty simple but the code is rather complex. Work is still in progress but I’ll keep the result posted. I need more free time. I have used a shared script from
